Sarah Palin handled the debate expertly. She knew the points she wanted to make and wove them into the answers she gave. Kudos to Sarah!
I am posting the following to give you an idea of what "Emily's List that intertwines with the Democrat Party" is saying about the debate. Their claim is that they represent about 6.5 million women------make that one less---I subscrbe to read what they are saying about candidates.
Pays to know the opposition!
This is another organization that is part of the Democrat and Obama machine. They send out e-mails asking for contributions to run their daily operations---that works against moderate and conservative women and men candidates.
Often the e-mail will have a second page that directs you to a contribution form to contribute to their chosen progressive, pro-choice women candidates. They give a link to the candidates site for contributions.
In addition to targeting Sarah Palin, they have sought contribtuions for the candidate challenging Senator Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina-------as well as other moderate and conservative women and men in office.
It pays to know the opposition------- Emily'List is another shadow organization just as ACORN is for Obama but operating in a slightly different way--including a presence at the Dem Convention.--mj

From Emily's List---------
"Dear xxxxxxx
For someone who says a lot about straight talk, Sarah Palin didn't give us much of it last night.
Here's the straight talk Palin didn't give you.
It's clear a McCain-Palin administration will be more of the same failed Republican leadership we've had these last eight years. Although Palin said "positive change is coming," it won't be from the Republican ticket. There's no secret that this ticket will offer anything but the progressive change our country needs -- the same course in Iraq, Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, and radically anti-choice leadership. Only this time, the right-wing extremism is even more dangerous.
More than ever, Democrats are counting on EMILY's List to turn out nearly 6.5 million women voters to counteract this right-wing energy and elect Barack Obama and our 36 women candidates who will put our country back on track.
The clock is running out on our chance to defeat the Republicans. Please make a contribution today -- with so much at stake, there isn’t a moment to waste.
Click here to make a donation to EMILY’s List and a generous group of donors will match your contribution!
Early voting has already started in a number of battleground states and we need to hit the phones, knock on doors, and turn out every vote we can.
In this election, we face a stark choice: protecting our progressive values or subjecting the country to another four years of failed right-wing policies -- and some of the most anti-choice Republicans in decades.
With the economy, health care, and women's rights on the line, we cannot sit on the sidelines during this election. We need Democratic leaders to set our country on the right course -- but it's going to take all of us to get them elected.
Please step up and help EMILY’s List defeat Sarah Palin, John McCain, and extremist Republicans up and down the ticket.
Click here to contribute to EMILY's List and your donation will be immediately matched!
Thank you for all you are doing to elect progressive Democrats and finally reclaim our country.
Warmest regards,
Ellen R. Malcolm President
