Surprised that no one took the time today to comment on the Wall Street Journal article...."New Wave of Firms Bets Consumers Are Ripe for Internet 'Micropayments'"

I wonder if it was because the only mention of the word WAVE was in the header....New Wave of Firms....Makes one wonder why WAVX wasn't mentioned and they instead deal with such "minor players" as Interactive Transactions Services and their association with another "minor player" named AT&T. Now where did I hear of that company before...AT&T.

And the nerve of Paul Hagen, the analyst for the Cambridge market-research firm, Forrester Research. Mr. Hagen is quoted as saying..."I think there is a certain interest in bung small things, and that will grow over time and spur micropayments...but I think the credit card will underlie the mechanism for doing that."

Another WSJ article talks about AT&T(there is that name again)and Sega joining forces to form an internet-service pact for video-game play. HMMM!
