Health insurance company profit per enrollee:

Wellpoint $72.83
Humana $57.27
Aetna $84.82

Per Donald Sensing

and

the-american-catholic.com

I previously calculated United Healths profit per enrollee at just under $43.

Are insurance company profits really a problem?

Re. insurance companies administrative costs. If our auto insurance were required by law to handle a claim everytime we replaced a tire, got an oil change, or replaced a battery, our auto insurance would be a major problem too and liberals would be talking about the auto insurance companies administrative costs.
