This just pisses me off. That had a good discussion on Kudlow about this. If the Fed is going to bail out hedge funds and investment banks- and now let the investment banks access discount window- why don't they also require that these damn hedge funds and investment banks maintain the same capital requirements as the banks. No more 30 to 1 leverage.

What they are doing is setting up Fannie and Freddie to offload all this illiquid and shaky mortgage paper- replacing it with treasuries (cash) so the banks get bailed out and then the taxpayer will get stuck with the bill for bailing out Fannie and Freddie in a year or so- just like the S&L's.

I simply do not understand how America doesn't revolt against this bullshit. These over leveraged bankers sucked the system dry and walked away with hundred million dollar paydays and live in $25 million dollar homes in the Hamptons, and now are transfering their mess over to Fannie and Freddie- so you and I get stuck with the bill.

Then they'll probably be shorting Fannie and Freddie after they offload all their problem paper to boot!

Can you imagine if Ron Paul could make speeches like Obama?

I wish the guy was 10 years younger and a little more charismatic. Is there anyone else on the political horizon like Paul? A younger, more dynamic version?

We need him (her)!
