That borders on the inconceiveable! I don't know how far down the Japanese economy will go, but I do recall that BEFORE the recent troubles, a public bailout was estimated to be going to cost each Japanese taxpayer in excess of $50,000 US dollars (compared to $12,000 per capita for US taxpayers for the S&L mess.) I don't know how much stress their aging taxpayers can take. choke, choke.
