permission to let go. i strongly support this feeling among caregivers. I was told many times to tell the person its ok to let go. They know its ok, however their desire to live and see their children and worry about their significant other is much stronger than the will to let go! you can advise someone that it's ok to let go however the desire to live is exceptionally stronger. Usually, the individual of this character will know when it is immediately hopeless and they begin the process of letting go.
