Hi IQ, great to see you, and thanks for participating... Excellent article... but the problem came about as a result of banks granting loans to high risk borrowers... the politicians who forced those banks to reduce their prerequisites for borrowing should be investigated, i.e., barney frank, obama, dodd, and clinton, and those banks should be allowed to be bought out by other banks or go under the way some savings and loans went under in the 70's and 80's... the bad debt can be separated out... there is no need to flood all troubled companies with billions of taxpayers' dollars, that's just throwing good money after bad... GZ
