A couple of points. First, Tundra's IPO was announced as going forward early in 1999.
Second, Lutz's comments indicate again that there are a variety of different reasons for the different treatment for each affiliate. In the reporters conference call yesterday he said that affiliate changes were made on a case by case basis. "There is no common thread'" he said. "The transactions are all done for different reasons."
Globe article this morning points out that in the last four months Newbridge has added two affiliates, bought another outright and has sold three, in addition to the Tundra announcement.
I know its a lot of action all at once but but I do think each affiliate is very different, is proceeding in its development at its own pace and moves get made when it makes sense for each of them, with one eye on the market.
