If you buy at Costco like mine here, our utilities offer a rebate at the checkout register Yes that's where they came from... rebate and all..

I also got a bunch of outdoor spiral floodlights.. not as bright instantly as the regular but not enough difference to bother about.. really not a fan of the indoor lights though.. IN the bathroom stoor all the fixtures and lamps used Halogens... (we just had a bathroom done..) using Spirals I would have needed extra pot lights installed.. Using halogens (better than incandescent also IMO) saved us that and gives instant light...

Neighbour has all LED floods outside... working fine and very cheap to operate...
