Okay, I'll bite. 18 months is "Grove's Law" for the EVOLUTION of a product, not the obsolescence. But, based on your statement the Zip drive will be obsolete by September of 1996, oops we've already passed that month and the Ditto drive would have been obsolete just about the time that it became the #1 market leader in Europe.
