Good point. The Japanese are just the opposite, as news came out this week that NEC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, et al, would give up their usually sacred "Golden Week" vacations, and work instead. This is because the chip market is that hot right now. Re Germany, good luck with the unions. At 4:45 you can hear the tools and the pencils all drop and hit table tops at the same time.
