Analog CDPD only offers 4.6-9.9 k data rates. I would not think this supports I mode. Why not? DoCoMo's current system only supports 9kbps. But I really don't know what AWE will use to get their i-mode up and running. Funny thing is, I don't even care. <ggg> Let them work on their melting pot of a network and throw all kinds of money at it. Sooner or later AWE will go away just like i-mode and wap. best, MicroE
