re the 2 generals - I'm surprised they would support someone who used family connections to avoid serving in VietNam by getting in the guard, was AWOL for part of his "service" period, and used family connections to get away with it.
But they stand to gain more from a Bush administration than a Gore administration, so I suppose, in these selfish times, that I shouldn't be surprised at all.
