In business, when we see we've made a mistake on what we thought was a promising investment, we cut the cord. We don't through good money after bad. Right now, we have a President and neocon Republican party that refuses to admit we made a mistake and even if they were to admit it, they refuse to make a course correction.

The fact is that we made a mistake and there's no time like the present to change course and invest in areas that look more promising to solve our most pressing problems.

As Cicero once said, "It is human nature to err, but only the foolish persevere in their errors."
