Thanks to Michael, I have just experienced my first G* phone call. Now I can say first hand that the technology does work very well. There was no perceptable voice or any other anomoly. Iridium cannot match the quality at least from my experience a year ago. There was minor distortion and delay with those calls. Ok, so it works. Now let's roll! I will be getting phone too as I am supposedly on a wait list with Airtouch but nw won't be active until Feb so I guess there is no hurry.
