I suppose most people would think of me as hawkish, but even I feel we should first complete the cleanup of Iraq (which may include some type of border strengthening involving US troops) and get a Democratic government installed. If that is successful, who knows, the Irani people may even INVITE US IN to rid them of THEIR TYRANNY. If another country is to be leaned on heavily by the USA my vote would go toward SYRIA. Our aim should be to get a PALISTINIAN/ISRAELI peace with two seperate DEMOCRATIC nations. If Iraq were Democratic, Syria neutralized, Palistinian situation resolved Iran would look very silly out their alone with their fanatic ways. I am not TOO concerned about Irani nuclear capability cause we can always resort to obliterating them if the need were to arise. jdn
