USRF Kicks Off Web Hosting Division, Will Host iChargeit.com
BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1999--Internet Media Corporation (OTC BB: USRF - news; pronounced ''you surf'') announced today that it had entered into an agreement to provide web hosting services to iChargeit.com, a ''virtual mall'' for cyber-shoppers.
''We believe this alliance with iChargeit.com is a great way to start our web hosting division,'' said Internet Media President David Loflin. ''As part of the agreement, Internet Media web hosting services will be a featured as a 'virtual store' on the iChargeit.com web site. We expect this heightened Internet visibility to play an important role in our efforts to expose all of Internet Media's Internet services, especially our breakthrough Wireless Internet access technology, to the world. We are now postured to become widely recognized as a superior provider of web hosting services,'' Mr. Loflin stated.
In addition to web hosting services, USRF is engaged in the Wireless Internet business.
