Don: Cardiomedics is not available at any of the 34 sites mentioned in the vaso site. The reason is fairly simple- there is no data yet to prove the efficacy of their device. As I mentioned in a previous post, one can postulate reasons why there would be differences in the two products. Ultimately there may, in fact, be no difference but this is up to Cardio to prove. Vaso meanwhile for all their seeming indifference is actively pursuing studies at academic centers as well as treating patients at clinical cardiology centers. So Cardiomedics has a lot of catching up to do!
