Don't blame Peter Lynch for this mess. His advice has always been sound, and remained so today. The media have certainly bastardized and distorted what he says about investing, but anyone who invests based on media sound bites deserves what they get anyway.

Peter Lynch is probably the person most responsible for whatever investing success I've had. The only other one who comes close is Warren Buffett.
