TopCat,
My point is why is eBay taking off all Confederate material from their site when Nazi material is still allowed? It's you liberals that are in a state of panic.
The point should be why eBay needs to take anything off of its site. Confederate flags, Nazi symbols, etc.

The reason should be obvious. Too many people think that because eBay allows it, eBay endorses it.

Too many people (like Ted) are telling themselves, "I'm not going to use eBay anymore if they continue to allow Confederate flags to be sold on their web site." It might not be a majority (at least I hope not), but it's enough to cause our handwringing media to shine a very negative light on eBay, and that's something eBay is too scared of facing.

This is what passes for "tolerance" these days.
