Wade, I bought some very early this morning at 25 1/4 and then after a long nap, a shower, and a decent bit of tape watching (despite a terrible net connection, probably due to the rain here in Berkeley) bought again at 26 3/8 and 26 7/16 with a few mins to go. I even saw a bid size of 500 at one point there, which is pretty rare.
The market is exploding and we've got a company that deserves to go higher fundamentally and technically. Rugrats Gameboy tomorrow, possible announcement of huge short interest (a target for short-busting mo-mo guys) and online store this week, and THQ's biggest PC game ever on Monday. Gotta love it.
Not only that, but some shorts may be bailing over the next week in order to avoid wash sale rules. They can cover now, get the tax loss that they all have, and re-short the last week of December when in all likelihood the price will be higher than it is now.
