Roger et al,

I spoke to Dutch Schultz today about the security issues BROC is facing. He was very knowledgeable and very aware. He comes from a company that specialized in Internet security and really knows what it takes. In fact he was honest that NetGain was only as good as the rest of the system it was running on, and they did not want to sell it up too much and create a false since of safety in their customers. He also made mention of various options or levels of security the customers could select.

All in all, I feel BROC has taken the security issue head-on. My only niggle would be their choice of MSFT as their primary source of encryption modules. They have been looking at SUN as a back-up plan. I think SUN's understanding of the Internet and security leaves MSFT in grammar school.

He also mentioned the white paper probably won't be posted until after Thanksgiving. He originally did not expect it to be for general consumption so now he is going to go back and make sure all his "i's" are dotted and "t's" crossed.
