E, I don't know where Israel would feel comfortable. There are plenty of uninhabited areas in the world where they would probably be left alone. The whole trouble is that where they want to live now is perceived by them to be given to them by God, but the Arabs also see it as their sacred land. Who was there first and who should it rightfully belong to? Wouldn't it be easier and safer to create a homeland somewhere else, much like the Mormons did in Utah when they felt persecuted?

I don't want to see the Jews persecuted. I think that a different homeland is the only solution. The alternative is the kind of eternal ethnic hatred that we see in Bosnia. It will never be resolved. You can't force people to accept each other.
