I guess I should amend my amendment back to my original: "Mr. Clinton's predicament was evident at several recent dinner parties and interviews," writes Wall Street Journal columnist Albert R. Hunt. "No one believed the president's explanation about his relationship with former intern Monica Lewinsky; terms like disgraceful, reckless and contemptible were tossed about -- all by prominent Democratic office holders and high-level Clinton appointees."
