If we had campaign finance reform we wouldn't need politicians who are either very rich personally or kissing ass with every rich special interest to try and get elected. One reason some rich deocrats run is because the Dems just cannot keep up with the corporate soft money the GOP candidates get. Sure they get some too but have to rely on unions and Hollywood to try and catch up.

Let's agree on passing the McCain-Feingold Bill and send letters to whomever your representatives are to do it. Otherwise we might even up with Jesse Ventura in the White House next with Nader as his running mate. As it stands, the rich and the corporate special interests continue to control the process. Absolutely.
