For what it's worth... I visited another Office Depot over the weekend and spoke to the Store's Assistant Manager. In the course of the conversation, she said she owns Smith Corona stock and wants to buy more.

She said Office Depot is phasing out many regular name brands and replacing them with "in-store brands."

I wonder if this is what the Smith Corona July press release and the discussion in the 10K was talking about?
