Kay,

Short term is a wild guess and I'll guess down.
Long term I think is positive. Their news today is right on target. Therefore I think they will stay on target to earn $.50 per share in fiscal 98 on $200 million revenue. Translating those numbers and a 100% growth rate (98 over 97) into a share price is dangerous but let's try. At 18 it is a PE of 36. Not bad for this market but seems a little low for this company. How about a PE of 50? That would give us price of 25. Now to move the PE up further I'd start guessing at 99 earnings. Any thoughts about those?

What did you think about Lucent's news today about starting a network servicing company? Sorry I'm not very good a linking and attaching and etc. Sucess invites competition or are they targeting different markets. My thought is 99 earnings become a bit clouder with some decent competition.

Todd
