Judge Alito certainly has Rush Limbaugh on his side... I listened to him yesterday denigrate the Democrats who were doing the questioning. He has chutzpah all right. He said of Kennedy... Well, his aides do all the work anyway as he cannot wait until the 5pm drinking hour. I heard some of this and agree with Limbaugh. kennedy is on a par with my two senators in terms of comments on current issues.

He said of Spector so many nasty remarks that I commenced to get upset about someones freedom to be so vitriolic on the radio... Missed this outburst.

Biden of course took a beating too. IN fact all the interviews were wrong and only Alito was right... I've always felt that Biden had potential. He just isn't too bright and tends to get confused when he thinks about his Presidential chances.

Rush is certainly not a view from the center as he is all one sided.. Trouble is that he misused the word empathy. He said that those Liberal Democrats have none.. but he used it outside of the context in which he was speaking. Limbaugh never professed to be a moderate. He represents a view different from MSM and many don't like it. BTW, the MSM is anything but a view from the center.

Wonder why we haven't had any convictions yet or any information on the many prescriptions that Rush used from various Doctors for his drug problem. It would seem if one has the right lawyers..requiring a lot of money... that one can get away with anything. Now, I don't resent that he became addicted as that can happen to anyone with pain. What I do resent is how he lambasted drug addicts for years and had only one solution, lock them up... HE DID NOT HAVE EMPATHY FOR THEM AT ALL.. so I have none for him.
Don't know here the case stands but he did win the part concerning doctor-client privilege. I'm not aware of his attitude toward addicts but question whether he "lambasted" addicts for years. He has picked on NOW and what he calls the environmentalists whackos a lot. And, that he picks on the democrats/liberals is no different that Al Franken, Bill Maher, Howard Stern etc. and their message concerning Bush and the right wingers. I have heard him be very critical of some republicans (including Spector) at times. He weighs in against McCain a lot. He has given a good voice to Lieberman and to Moynihan on many occasions. I suspect what bothers most of his critics is the huge audience that he has gathered.
