Jeff-- You never know. H&Q can be strange. If you didn't read my earlier post on the subject, there was l'affaire PLAT. In December, PLAT announced an offering of convertible notes. Who was one of the lead underwriters? Guess. Who came out two days later with an earnings downgrade? Guess. Pretty sleazy. And the bonds sold very well indeed; lucky H&Q clients. Of course the stock tanked. And I note also that Sal's now into PLAT, I assume on the recommendation of his H&Q broker. And he probably got in at a very good price.... A THOUSAND Voodoo Dolls...
