We're to the right of Europe, which means lower on your scale. This is precisely why the US has come to be an economic powerhouse in the last 239 years of our history. Europe is far more Socialist with countries like France and Germany having welfare programs that far exceed ours. However, we are steadily moving towards the European model with new Entitlements like Obamacare, even though Obamacare is so much less efficient and stable than the European models. The US will be Europe eventually. The American people have decided they like Socialism, so that is what we will get. Along with it, we will get very slow growth, increased indebtedness, and fewer jobs. Our economic domination will wane. It is already waning. These are natural consequences of Socialism and we have embraced them.
