Medical Resorts International Inc.
EDMONTON, Nov. 13 /CNW/ - Medical Resorts International Inc. is pleased
to announce its financial results for the year ending June 30, 1998. Revenue
from operations increased from $207,747 last year to $878,951 this year. Total
Revenue when considering extra ordinary gains increased to $1,279,453 this
year versus $207,747 last year. Operational profit before non-cash items was
$386,415 versus a loss of $2,547,592 last year. Net Profit for the year was
$546,408 (1.8 cents per share) versus a loss of $3,450,914 last year. It is
expected that the positive results obtained this year will continue through
the new fiscal year.
The issued and outstanding shares in the Company is 30,928,592.
Medical Resorts International Inc. trades on the Canadian Dealing Network
(CDN) Toronto under the Symbol ''MDRE'' in the United States on the NQB Pink
Sheets under the symbol ''MRINF''.
