Ron, to practice file recovery from an image file I tried it just now. Software for imaging is EASEUS. Turns out I can recover only the lowest level folder - cannot open that folder to recover only one file in it. Even though normally any lost file would be on my flash drive and could be dragged, it's nice to know it can also be recovered from the image
