Yesterday I installed a TrendNet 500 Internet extender that uses electrical wiring to transmit the signal. It works great!

It took about 2 minutes to set it up right out of the box. I now have 30MB wireless Internet in the bedroom wing of my long house that was out of range of my router. Other repeaters did not work very well.

I hooked my TV to the laptop and streamed a movie from Amazon Prime that was clear as a bell and there were no glitches in the picture.

I figure that it will have a 2 month payout versus TV cable since I get many stations on my digital antenna. That does not include the minutes saved with the iPhones now that wifi is available all over the house.

I have ordered a Roku and will report on it in a few days.

Blessings,

SOJ
