hi wayne,

re "still have problems with computer dialing up when ever I turn it on. No browser opens, just dials up and sits there!"

this is not an area i deal with repeatedly, so i can only offer a suggestion or two. check in your ie5.0 internet properties (either through control panel settings or browser 'tools') under 'connections'. i think if you select 'never dial a connection', the auto dialing will stop (can't tell from your post if that is what you desire, or if you want the auto dial, but you'd like the browser to open too?). right now i'm guessing that the 'always dial my default connection' selection is checked. if you make changes, remember to hit apply, then OK.

you might also look at the connection wizard setup on that same dialog. that may hold the solution to your problem.

good luck. wish i could have been more help.

:)
