there are only 2 stocks I own, GOOG and AAPL. I'm basically long these two as long term growth plays. But the market, I think is a short. I remember in 2001 sometime when economists were calling the recession "over" they said, watch the jobs numbers for when the recovery begins in earnest. Well guess what, we never got job growth which to me means we never recovered. Of course the fed statistics are all pumped up with their claims of 5% GDP (actually HIGHER than in the 90s) and whatnot. But I don't believe it. I think the economy sucks. I can see how desperate the people I interview are for jobs.
