This whole controversy started with a response I made to a post written by Steve.

Steve wrote:
>>>>>I never degrade myself or what Christ did by thinking of myself as a poor sinner. Jesus is in me and He paid too big of a price for me to degrade it. Demons are the ones that continually tell you that you are worthless and a failure.. don't listen to them.<gg><<<<<<<

This is the answer I gave Steve:

Joshua wrote:
>>>You don't have to degrade yourself because you are already degraded, also you are a poor sinner unless you want to call God a liar. I am shure you can remember the scripture " all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". Apart from Christ we are worthless in God's sight, however don't take my word for it but do look it up for yourself because God said that. Concerning beeing a failure Paul gives us a paradox and then he gives us the answer to it when he says in Rom 7:24-25 " O wretchet man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin". the conclusion is then that the " new man" ( new nature) born of God has worth, the "old man" (old nature) is worthless acording to God.<<<<<
To respond to your question Yes Jesus lives in me by the Holy Spirit.
Any other questions?

Regards
Joshua

P.S. BTW There is no need for us to love our self's because we already do, where does selfishness come from, but from self love. That is why Jesus said "Love thy neighbor as thy self". If Jesus would have tought that there is a problem with people loving them selfs the He would have said Love your self first and then love thy neighbor as thy self.
