Does anyone know if Rivkin mentioned PRLN on the Squak Box? Could that be the cause of this move.

As far as your scenario of PRLN falling to $0 - - it could happen. Of course, if it did then I would just invest a dollar and buy an infinite amount of stock. :-) (This is called making lemonade out of a lemon.)
