"As for the energy companies, fund manager Joe Duarte on Friday said he sees
relative strength in natural gas and utility stocks. "The Philadelphia Utilities
Index (UTY:) has scored a chart breakout and has about 5
percent to 10 percent upside potential," says Duarte, who wears several hats.
He runs money from Texas, is the author of the highly regarded "Successful
Energy Sector Investing" and works as a medical doctor.

Duarte suggests two ways to gain: the Utilities Holdrs Trust (UTH: news, chart,
profile) and shares of energy companies Burlington Resources (BR:) and Nisource Inc. (NI). "This may or may not
be a longer term opportunity, so anyone who delves in it should use stop-loss orders and limit losses to no
more than 5 percent to 10 percent," Duarte says. For more: See Joe Duarte's Web service."
