I made my decision on McCain when he ran against Bush in the 2000 primaries. It was a toss up at the time, but I found my preference was greatly for Bush as time went on.

Fill me in on the "rant" to the POW/MIA wife. I missed it.

My main objection to McCain is the McCain Feingold campaign finance reform law. I thought it went a long way to junking up the 2004 elections. It results in a plethora of organizations making claims, each saying that the other is discredited and nobody knows what to believe. The only one I believed was the Swifties because of who signed their petition, but their enemies all said they had been discredited. I never saw any evidence that they had been.

Moveon.org looked like a big fat billionaire on his way to a monastery if he didn't get his way. I hope he goes to one in Nepal at about 15,000 feet.
