Lutz was going to announce it just before his wife's birthday..but decided "Hey why not kill two birds with one stone and give it to her for Christmas too......well on second thought...you know Christmas and New Years are all sort of in the same week... so....so maybe she won't notice that I combine all those events and make one huge splash........well of course Valentines Day is not far off either...
No, no, no, you heard it wrong. He actually caught Hades for thinking he could get off so easy. His wife met him at the front door that night, hands on hips, yelling, "You're giving me what for my birthday??????" To which our quick-on-his-feet COO replied, "They got it wrong! I didn't say, Global One. I said, Golden wand!" Her face softened as she glanced up. "Golden wand?" she asked. "Yes, my little pookie," he whispered, taking her in his arms. "With that you can have anything you want."
Friends of the family report she did indeed get her golden wand and others claim our COO has tried to negotiate its use for a day, but so far talks have stalled. Those who know him tellme not to worry as he succeeds with at least three nines reliability.
Of course, he could be waiting for my birthday. <G>
