EBAY on Wednesday, rating the stock a "buy" with a price target of $230. Morgan said the pioneering company had captured 70 percent of the total market with 3.6 million auctions at its site, reaching a critical mass far outstripping its rivals. It described eBay's business model as compelling, with high gross margins and a profit, a rarity for Internet companies. Shares in the company closed in New York on Tuesday at $150-9/16.
