Very true, Bill, but also don't forget that even were that absurdly low multiple to prevail again -permanently- (which it obviously won't), AMAT would still be a long-term no-brainer because of it's long-term growth in a market still at its early stages.

Even AMAT's short-term prospects look outstanding, ignorant panic aside (which it isn't, so far as stock price goes, I agree; but it is wrt AMAT's place in the SE marketplace itself).

Barring some fundamental change, this is simply a better and better buying opportunity.

Chicken Little has his day (which for us long-termers is irrelevant), but AMAT has the whole future (which is all that matters).
