Cable/Satellite Broadcast without VBI-PBS

should really not be a problem. most people I know
don't get local stations on their dishes and are used
to supplimenting their input with rabbit ears. The
Cable dependent people in dense metropolitan areas
also have few problems as they are generally close to
broadcast towers (like in NYC) and despite steel and
concrete, still get a decent signal near the window.
Obviously it would be nice to see all broadcasters
cooperate, and I would be interested in seeing how
it plays out "politically" between companies. How
it will effect consumers logistically is negligable.
I'd say worrying about a 300ohm(2pair) to a 75ohm(coax)
is MORE of a concern then where the signal comes from!

Paul, thanks for all the insights. I would say to all
beta-testers looking to post here to be cautious about
it. We would not want to discourage WAVO from their
beta program by being irresponsible here and not honoring
non-desclosure agreements. There are MANY issues that
have to be hashed out in the next 60 days, so let's keep
our posts as FACTUAL as possible, so we're not guilty of
misleading people here like they often do on AOL. The
companies press releases are hyped enough as is...
