Redstate - Sen. Lieberman (D-CT) to Homeland Security? By: Doverspa · Section: Democrats Rumors are spreading that Sentaor Lieberman could be tapped to follow the expected resignation of Secretary Ridge. Since former Governor Ridge has not stepped down yet, it will be a little while before this pans out. But it's a slow news day and some speculation wouldn't hurt. This would confirm the theory that living in the minority isn't worth it for some Democrats (especially moderates). Also, it would send several secondary shockwaves through the Connecticut political scene.
