Suma, [links added] latest version of IE for Windows 7 is version 10. So, if your Toshiba with Windows 7 has IE version 10 it's not the latest but cannot be upgraded anyway because higher versions of IE are only for Windows 8 and 8.1 I think that's why Google nags you to install THEIR browser, Chrome. We'll get to that. Keep ignoring the nags for now :) PS: here's where I got the IE for Windows 7 info zdnet.com and I think the IE 11 can be installed in Windows 7 if W7 has SP1 en.wikipedia.org
