Win 7 Control Panel may not display all your printers in the Devices and Printers window. They are there but in a weird way. Multiple printers may be under ONE icon. You right-click on the main one.

If you want to select one of them as a default printer, you have to click on that model in the "set as default printer" right-click window. One confusing thing is that it won't change icons to match the printer you selected like the bottom of this pic shows because I have the Kyocera 3800 as default but the pic and info is the Brother MFC printer.
