Even if the shares are consolidated (say at 10:1) and trade at $1.20 instead of $0.12 this will have no impact whatsoever on the amount of money that is available to the company.

It does not add money to the treasury (ie. the company's bank account). What it does is cost the company its legal fees to effect the consolidation.

What would add money to the treasury is the issuance of new shares. This is what some people are understandably concerned about (ie. dilution).

On an unrelated note, I hope when I roll over tomorrow morning and look at my blackberry I see a positive news release. For some reason (and I may be wrong or it may be coincidental) I have found that the company likes to release news on Thursdays.
