To All:
Somebody over at the MF side (AROWANA8) posted that Cymer will be an exhibitor at a "semicon show" in Japan on Dec 3-5, and asks about the possibility of Cymer introducing a new product.
Much of the current fearful speculation about Cymer's position vis a vis the "competition" implies that THEY are all moving forward with their fantastically flawless DUV product (which by the way, in real life, hasn't been plugged in yet) while Cymer's currently successful product is a static entity till the end of time! The reality is that given Cymer's ambitious R&D program, their high level of engineering skill, and their knowledge of the market, investors have every reason to believe that Cymer will be as dynamic or more dynamic as any other market entrant!
The analysts and consequently the market have priced Cymer as if the game is all over for them! The truth is that Cymer has just finished a couple of years of warming up, and the game is about to start!
