I believe I pointed out on this thread, by reading the Islamic scriptures, there is a very real violent nature to them, that justifies terrorism and the terroristic acts on 9/11. I believe (and I hate this to be true, but it is) that bin Laden and the Al Qaeda were justified in what they did by the Islamic scriptures and were being adherent Muslims. It is scary, but true! And I have proved my position many times, with many different Muslims. No one has come up with any justified explanation on why I am wrong. And in my opinion, if this world chooses to live with scripture that can be interpreted to justify such heinous acts, we get what we deserve!
Do I agree with the acts? Absolutely not! Does something have to be done? Absolutely, YES!! People must come up with an answer to this problem.
Now, don't get me wrong, many other people don't interpret the scripture the way I do. But they also can't refute my interpretation either, which is the problem. If my interpretation is true, it can't be lived with!
