Bill, I have been lurking this thread for a few days now and I am surprised that no one is asking what I consider to be key questions of this mess, like: 1. Where is Walsh and Hedeldorf(?) residing?....Canada or Cayman Islands?....If Cayman, then no good....hope they can be extraditate(sp) to say ....a Mexican Prision .... 2. Why did Bre-X allowed Strathcona to jump the gun in four days???....was this so obvious to them????.......how could it be so obvious if there was no core left (Bingo!) or any other way to trace it....but this was a well known fact....so where are the news here???? 3. Why did Walsh allowed any deal with a third party (Freeport) that would uncover any wrong doing???......if they salted, they could've saved face by pretending that they were entitled to 90% and force the Indo to kick their asses out of the country....but then this would've been a much merciful deatch of the the share price than today's crash 4. Walsh claims that he did not sell any shares of his own, how can we prove that he DID NOT SHORT IT???? 5. What if there is some 20 moz in Busang plus a god salting device ??....then Bre-X shares would be worth about $7....Walsh can still sell his 30 mill shares at $7, plust whatever he shorted...he would be making money left and right on your and my pocket...!!! 6. WHY WOULD THE TSE ALLOW TO RESUME TRADING TODAY??????.....SOME POwERFUL FORCES HAVE FORCED THE PRICE CRASH....SOMEBODY WILL BE MAKING A PILE OF MONEY WHEN THEY "REDISCOVER" THE REAL SIZE OF BUSANG. 7. Why did Freeport mae public the seven holes whe they did not finished their DD...why are they still working on it if there is no gold???? I expect that either Barrick or Freeport (or some major) will end up with Busang and taking over Bre-X, Walsh (if found guilty) in jail and the rest of the shareholders very happy to get $8 for their paper...and Suharto with less money in the bank.....the milking COWs are going to starve, there will not be more lambs to feed the crooks... I hope that Indonesia have some tough laws for croocks like Walsh and Company and in fact, I hope they use the same law as the musulmans do (or used to do) and they cut some of their body parts, in this case you know what since he has been using IT on us for three years...
